PRESSure SHOT
Press and Release
PRESSure SHOT is a glass designed to make different experience for the cocktail lover. The glass creates a prospect for individuals to become self-made bar tenders. The design works by pouring liquids into separate glasses then combining them together to make one. The first liquid such as Rum will be poured into the glass and sit at the bottom, another liquid such as Vodka will then be poured into a second glass that fits inside the first glass. Press down to force the liquid to gush out through a hole in the middle of inner glass, the liquids then fuse together to fashion a cocktail.

Recent research conducted by Drinkaware (2018) examined the regular drinking patterns of people in the UK aged between 18 and 75.  Approximately three in five people admitted that they drink alcohol to help them handle the pressures of their daily lives. When the liquids blend together through the ‘volcano crater’ it symbolizes a release of pressure from daily life mimicking a volcanic eruption.

The concept derives from cocktail shots, the idea of mixing two kinds of liquors with the support of an interesting and innovative design makes the drink more enjoyable. Cocktail shots usually have a lot of kick in it and people sometimes drink it to forget their problems and have fun. If you buy a cocktail shot at a bar the bartender has made it for you, but with this glass you can easily make it at home, your way, in a fun environment and use whatever liquids you want.
