I married into an Indian family and immediately realized I was an Indian in my last life.  At least that’s what I think. India to me is quiet chaos. Although the cacophony of street sounds are loud and boisterous, there is a hum below the surface noise that is the underlying calm of the country. All things move in the same direction… forward. Everyone is busy tending to their lives whether it is for work or holiday. The colors sights and sounds are soothing to me and capture the essence of the people.

These photographs are my musings over the span of 40 years. I traveled as a member of a family and I traveled as a foreigner. The country is intriguing and mind blowing with beauty abounding. Please enjoy these snippets of life as observed by an admirer.
