The term 'Selfie' was created in 2002,
but it's not just a modern phenonmenon.
Dating back in 1900, when the portable camera was invented, people had already started taking 'self-photography'. And before the invention of camera, Artist painted 'self-portrait' to record what one looked like. They compose the piece to express the story & mood, which is equivalent to 'using photo filters' app today. 🖼
