Plentyfull wants to be the friend that serves up hearty meals
with a spiritof adventure, comfort and a strong sense of community.
The restaurant is committed to bringing eating well back — as a citizen of the food scene, seeking to plate a new normal of honest, hearty, homemade food by treating the land, farmer, chef, server and guest with care and respect.
The restaurant's menu uses big exotic flavours drawn from comfort food across cultures.
We strived to create a feeling that was restful and restorative, letting customers feel Plentyfull's sincerity in bringing authentic, sustainable seasonal recipes to the table,
100% made from scratch.
The Plentyfull logo was inspired Betty Crocker, and is a custom drawn script.
We also drew a brand typeface that fronts much of the graphics in the space.
A feminine, homely interpretation of American gothics, it is both elegant
and space-saving, very useful in menu layouts.
We shot collages of fresh produce shaped in the letter P to illustrate their respect for ingredients. These feature both local and imported produce, so you have banana flowers next to cherries, watermelon with bok choy leaves — a nod to the “world” cuisine of Plentyfull, which uniquely interprets comfort food from many cultures. So much of their food philosophy revolves around love for produce, choosing the best,
and cooking it in a way that maximises its flavour.
