The Mountain Club company is more than just a coworking space business - they also run the Beach Street Cafe, where you can start your day with the unique Mountain Club vibes. Therefore, it was crucial to establish a consistent and flexible visual identity that could represent both entities. We created a shield-style logo that symbolises teamwork and belonging and used it as a basis to develop a set of personal icons. The cup icon, which serves as the pictorial mark of the Cafe, was also derived from these shapes. To reinforce the brand's identity, we used typefaces that emit strength and solidity, which a well-known type designer, René Bieder, created. Additionally, we created a set of wayfinding pictograms separate from the primary icons' aesthetics to provide more assets for the identity. The result is a cohesive, attractive, and versatile brand identity system.
