Drawing upon 25 years of construction management experience that includes stints with Wynn Design & Development and Hedrick Brothers Construction, Brian Vanderburgh manages project cycles in Florida and Nevada as a director with Pure Projects. One of the projects Brian Vanderburgh oversees is the MSG Sphere Las Vegas.

The MSG Sphere Las Vegas, a passion project of New York Knicks' owner James Dolan, is slated to open to the public in 2021. Another sphere is expected to be constructed in London, while several others will be built if the first two prove successful in redefining modern entertainment venues.

The MSG Sphere will be a dome-shaped arena that will feature wall-to-wall movie screens and host live events. The movie screen will be roughly 160,000 square feet and wrap around a main stage; by comparison, the standard screen in a cinema is about 3,000 square feet. The exterior will also be able to showcase media as it will be comprised of high-definition LED screens.

One of the more futuristic elements of the MSG Sphere will be its ability to replicate diverse settings worldwide, such as the polar ice caps or the Amazon rainforest, via climate control and the pumping in of "evocative scents." Speaking to The New York Post about his intentions for building the MSG Spheres, Dolan noted, "That is essentially what we are building: an attempt to convince you that you are somewhere else."
