For Fox Sports John Robertson painted three portraits of the great Willie Mays for the backdrop of an interview shown during the Major League Baseball broadcast of the All Star Game at Candlestick Park stadium in San Francisco.  The interview of Willie Mays was conducted by Ken Griffey Jr. and Derek Jeter, (seen in front of one of the paintings)  Two paintings were 4 ½ feet by 6 feet and one of the paintings was 4 feet by 8 feet, all, acrylic on unstretched canvas.  They were hung like a tapestry or banner in the background. The three Willie Mays paintings are used extensively throughout the 4 minute interview
