This kitchen island is the bearer not only of the whole engagement in the kitchen but also of its design. In this project, the emphasis is on the kitchen island as the place for preparing, cooking, and consuming food as well as the place of socialization. When the design is incorporated in an open space plan you realize that they are practically the same - "open". All storage units and what they contain are visible to the eye and invite you to explore. There are various situations to its final look and it's left for the personalization by its users.
