What many do not realise is it is psychologically also a life sentence for the victim who has
to constantly relive the ordeal. It is only through counselling that victims can free their minds and
escape the mental prison they have been incarcerated in. With one in four women falling
victim to rape in South African, it is a very mainstream problem.
