During my residency in Barcelona, Albec Bunsen was commissioned a Sculpture for the opening of an artist residency space on the rooftop of an industrial building.

The sculpture represents a human in wide baggy clothing, sitting on the floor and holding his knees in. 

At the time (2017) the worldwide unrest towards "the Syrian war and the displaced refugees" was at its peak, especially in Spain, so this sculpture came as a reminder to the public, that at the core of it, these refugees are humans who deserve every right we all have. The sculpture is supposed to be a reminder to the Spanish that they were once at war too, that they too had famine and chaos.
