Modern research tends to analyse a large number of factors and elements that have an influence on the examined subject area. The greater the depth of detail, the more interlinked the connections are.
In this information graphic for the research project “BioDIVA” of the Leibniz Center for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) I have illustrated this complex structure in the form of a computer circuit board. This illustrates the connections between the individual components (research approaches). A detailed network of inputs and outputs is created, which perfectly depicts the complexity of the project.
