The window of innocence!

Do you feel God’s presence somewhere around you? Yes, I did when I saw this little princess at the window.

Kids are kids and not so easy to work with them, a beautiful small place in a remote village in Kutch and one window one door and darkness were there to make me understand what is the importance of such beautiful light.

I had something in mind to create an image of kids inside the small place and as usual, kids did not want to do anything as I wanted. Just wanted to play with the camera, I thought if I gave the camera it might be able to work and after some time they did not even bother about a camera and started playing around with their makeshift toys.

Nothing was working out for me to make an image and I decided to enjoy darkness alone. I was sitting inside and felt like being inside the cage for minutes and realised why kids were not happy being inside. There is always a charm of getting fresh air. And kids were enjoying it fully. Obviously, the entire plan got flopped and I was wondering what to do inside. Kids found it funny and started teasing me from the window and door. I did not understand what to do, and I was upset with the plan. And I thought it's okay if you can't do as planned things with kids, let's enjoy their company. That's a much better plan for me rather being sad. After a few minutes magic happened, magic at the window, the magic of innocence and here is an image which I could make. It may not be so exciting in terms of photography but I enjoyed it a lot.
