On the spine, one of a hundred sentences taken from the book. On the back cover, one of a hundred faces recombined from a series of original portraits from Stéphane Poirier. John Smith is the story of a name and stories or ideas to be found within a name. The whole text is taken from Internet search results. Produced with the support of Baillat Studio (design) and Stéphane Poirier (illustrations), the book is also declined in a number of ways: photos, posters, graphic animation, music and web site (johnsmithis.com) that makes it a truly multimedia project.
