This is a digital collage I made with a prompt from a FB group. The mandatory elements were the color purple, a mythical creature, coffee/tea, a ticket stub, and a magazine image. Source images are below, plus a description of the creative process. The word on the left is "relax" - I hand wrote it and it's kind of hard to read.

First, I sourced some images from unsplash.com. I started with the woman holding a magazine. I decided I wanted my own magazine, so I selected and deleted the magazine and underneath positioned the geometric background and the pegacorn (or whatever that is. I played with layer effects a lot here, and it looks vastly different than just layering it on.

Overall, this was a practice in using layers, layer effects, and patience. This looks very close to the collages I do in an art journal. The gem pictures is pretty much my sticky gems of the internet.
