Café Britt's souvenir shop -Interior Design
Café Britt has a souvenir shop in Andaz Papagayo´s hotel and they needed a design that was suitable for the hotel´s asthetic, different from any other Café Britt´s shop.
The hotel´s design is based on biomimetic design, which emulates designs found in nature.
Based on this I decided to use a natural element that was part of the hotel´s surroundings; so ocean waves were used as the inspiration element to create the design´s concept.

The waves were represented in a conceptual way in the design by using specific types of materials, colors, textures and shapes; with this the space reflected the characteristics of freshness, freedom and dynamism that the ocean waves have.
In this way the shop´s design was not only functional but also suited its surroundings.
