The Belgian Federal Public Service (FPS), Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment, was looking to create scientific content to identify indicators related to work-related psychological illnesses (burn-out, stress) and common illnesses such as depression, bipolar disorders, alcohol abuse, and illnesses related to the use of psychoactive substances.

These indicators will be integrated into an (web, mobile) application.

The goal of the FPS’s project is to

- Complete and update the knowledge of general practitioners (GP) on psychological illnesses

- Aiding the GP in understanding the distinction of the illnesses

- Enabling the GP to propose an adapted trajectory for care

The application should enable the GP to determine the problem at hand, and what steps need to be taken.
