Here at Kiwee we are fans of and experts in both software development and design.
This summer we’ve released the first edition of the Technology Radar: our tech team’s evaluation of the newest technologies and frameworks. We, Kiwee designers, worked hand in hand with the tech team to create this report and were responsible for the look of the digital Technology Radar itself, the ebook (see our separate post on it as soon as it’s released) as well as the visuals for the social media promo campaign.
When working on Technology Radar’s overall look and style, we focused on giving credit to the technical knowledge the team possesses, thus the hand-drawn illustrations specifically for this occasion. All illustrations were done with Sakura Micron ink pens and uplifted in Adobe Photoshop.
For the social media promotion images we chose the theme of cosmic space. Why? Human presence in space is possible only thanks to the high-tech solutions, top quality in production and impeccable precision in data, communication and navigation. A perfect metaphor for the power of people’s expertise.
Last, but not least, our overall visual approach at Kiwee is to proudly shine the light on our people. The Tech Radar’s occasion was no different. We’ve shown our developers on the promo images for everyone to know whose expertise comprises the Tech Radar.
