Native Coffee Roasters is an upscale, international coffee roastery, located in the heart of Doha, Qatar. They are most proud of their specialty, artisanal coffees from exotic locations around the world, grown in small-yield cooperatives and estates that engage in Fair Trade practices. The Native Coffee Cafe boasts its own coffee roasting facility and a welcoming interior design with an international flair but also laced with Arabic culture.

I was approached by Native Coffee when they were about to launch their first coffee roastery and were on the lookout for fresh & thoughtful packaging ideas. After doing some light retouching on the already existing logo, we set out to do the rest of the branding. The total packaging excercise involved creating coffee cup designs in different colour and sizes, takeaway bags, roasted coffee bags and sandwich packaging:

The theme of the visual language was based on line art illustrations and pastel colors. The coffee land landscape, cafe interior scenes and Doha skyline formed by uniform lines were a good match for the geometric, line based logo:
