Design Brief

Our primary goal during the time period of our symposium is to re-connect the various art and design students attending with nature. Because of this we have chosen a site with no view of the Toronto skyline to help immerse the students further into nature. The elevation change of the symposium forces students to get out of their personal space and go to the open spaces to socialize and interact with nature. We want to create a space that is uniquely that of the students and faculty attending. In order to facilitate this we plan on designing a system that is easy to use and assemble. a

Our aim is to get students thinking about design and nature, as well as their interaction with one another through experimentation on a life sized scale.
