Plastik Niefantastik
W maju w Plamie Gdańskim Archipelagu Kuktury odbyła się wystawa Plastik Niefantastik, będąca inicjatywą studentów ASP. Wystawa zawierała plakaty pokazujące problem mikroplastiku.

In May in Plama Gdańsk Culture Archipelago there was the exhibition Plastic Notfantastic, being an Academy of Arts initiative. The exhibition included posters about the problem of microplastic.

20 maja wystawę Plastik Niefantastik w Plamie w Gdańsku odwiedziła grupa składająca się z uczniów od pierwszej do trzeciej klasy podstawowej ze szkoły International School of Gdansk, razem z ich wychowawcami Bernadka Wezel, Aleksandra Patalon oraz Lori Lyn Farquhar. Wzięli oni udział w warsztatach plastycznych na temat mikroplastiku i sposobów informowania ludzi o tym zagrożeniu dla środowiska. Dzieci wysłuchały mojej krótkiej przemowy - będąc ich bibliotekarki oraz autorki jednego z plakatów - opowiadałam o inicjatywie studentów ASP oraz Natalia Uryniuk, by wspomagać ratowanie naszej planety. Potem dzieci same narysowały własne plakaty, inspirowane tymi, które zobaczyły na wystawie. Ich własna wystawa została wywieszona na korytarzu szkoły, by zainteresować tematem swoich starszych kolegów oraz nauczycieli.

On 20th of May the group of 1-3 grades primary students from International School of Gdańsk visited the exhibition, along with their great hometeachers Bernadeta Węzeł, Aleksandra Patalon and Lori Lyn Farquar. There they had art workshops about microplastic and ways to inform people about it's danger. Children listened to my short talk, being their librarian and one of the authors. I talked about students initiative and Natalia Uryniuk to help save our planet. Later kids drew their own posters, being inspired with the exhibition. Their own posters were hanged in their school on the corridor, to make other students and teachers interested in the subject.
