FUR was made of synthetic fur and acrylic. Its movement is controlled by the Arduino board and H-bridge driver in its body.

Data is collected from the pressure sensor underneath the doormat and then sent to FUR via Bluetooth sensors. When a person steps on the mat, the pressure sensor underneath the mat senses pressure and data is collected. The data received activates the driver and the wheels rotate, causing Fur to roll about.
