Utopia is not in the sense of fake, but as an underwater, subconscious world symbolizing the true nature of things. This project is a bridge between the old and new. Mid-century approaches were rethought in lux materials and contemporary furnishing design paring. We are inspired by its shapes and colors so we chose a distinctive palette matching all shades of deep ocean blue with ginger wood and all manifestations of metal. It's an attempt to сreate space as sensual as underwater world with the spirit of the past. Below we want to show our inspirational way to create this space.

Inspiration
by Alexandre Jamin
Most of the ideas have their own roots from the past, their own underwater. This is a kind of associative game.
Architecture, sculptures and visual art are a part of almost every other visual key new postmodern element.
Totem sculpture - unique artifact that helps to make the home individual.  We added a copy of Roger Desserprit’s sculpture which we associate with Monumento al Campesino in Lanzarote. The master bedroom is inspired by the mood of 90s interiors. Here are some of the objects and interiors that indirectly affected us in our creation process.
1. Monumento al Campesino, Cesar Manrique, Lanzarote, 1968
2. Palermo entryway (captured by @okoloweb)
3. Scott Burton, perforated metall armchairs, 1989
References
1. Ignazio Gardella, apartment in Milan, 1970s
2. Back Stairs - Villa Necchi Campiglio, Milan

3. Manhattan duplex, 1980
4. Unknown hotel lobby, 1990s
5. Landmarke Lausitzer Seenland by Architektur und Landschaft, Germany, 2013
The overall objective was to make a highly liveable space with special mood & change of scenery in different parts of habitation using colors.
Everything was designed in response to the idea of ergonomics and comfort.
The 2-storey apartment is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood and features winter garden with terrace that opens wide view on Dnipro river.
