American 🇺🇸 Classic Cars of Sweden

This is a personal project I started last November after I visited Sweden for 3 weeks. Seeing so many american classics inspired me to make this set of 6 illustration. My concept was to choose the cars and make an era appropriate background for each of them. The illustrations represent my interpretation of that specific time.
All these Classics belong to friends and people I meet in Sweden. I tried to illustrate every car as they were, using their own story for my concept. The best example is the 55 Chevy where I used the name "Moonblaster" of the car and created this retro futuristic look.
I worked on this illustrations only in my free time so it took a while to finish them. It made me spend more time on every illustration what kind of, let me work out more details. The goal was to work on more complex illustrations to create more intriguing works.
As an illustrator it made me very happy to see the owners of the cars appreciate my interpretations of their cars.
