The task
To design a brochure introducing new graduates (aged 21-27) to Centrica - and giving them an insight of what to expect from the Commercial Marketing graduate scheme.
Main criteria was to make the brochure feel young, fresh and modern but still conform to the brand guidelines. This was no easy feat, but think I cracked it.

Concepts
Like most projects, I start by jotting down my ideas. Created 3 concepts that were later worked up and presented to the client. What you see below were some of my initial scamps.

Colours
Extensively used the Centrica Secondary and Accent colour palette. This was used to add vibrancy and as a navigation tool

Navigation
Used the Helix from the Centrica Values guidelines as a mechanism to colour co-ordinate each section and as a subject divider

Kite tool
Used the Kite tool as a directional arrow, image or text holder. Here are a few examples...

Photography
Was limited to using photo and client library photography. However, still wanted the imagery to reflect real people, be multi-cultural and diverse
