In this service concept design project I am setting out to improve the lives of the hearing impaired in developing countries. As I researched conditions and regulations as well as talked with experts and volunteers, I discovered the solution needed to qualify under these criteria: Affordable, Approachable, Appropriate, Broadly Applicable and Available. Through ideation I discovered my solution was not a new product but one that utilized a system of existing ones. I continue to develop this project as a personal interest in the subject matter.
