My other home
My other home is a brassy experimental exploration of digital colors through the use of personal spaces within a home. All photos were taken at the  George Eastman Museum in Rochester New York. After learning the history of the building as well as the death of Mr. Eastman, the founder of Kodak, I began to think would he have done anything differently in his life if he could?  As humans, we all experience emotions of doubts and regrets. Coming to terms with life decisions invokes the idea of what could I have done differently to be more happy, wealthy, successful, etc?  My other home embodies the supplication of the human desire for a do-over. If I could redo... what would it look like? What would it feel like? What would it smell like?

"Light makes photography. Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography." — George Eastman

Coloring effects
Photoshop's camera raw editing tools were used to make color corrections, lens corrections, and split toning.  A highpass filter alongside an inverse masking layer was used to make some aspects within the photo stand out more than others, such as the silverware and apple in the dining room photo.  Using duplicate layers of the original picture, solid colored overlays, and smart gallery filters were how I created an eccentric coloring effect. The adjust brush tool in Lightroom was used to give the finishing touches for creating vibrant and easy to make glowing effects.
