Created as part of Gallery 1988's 2018 Idiot Box show; a delightful collection of art based on the most influential tv shows from the last ten years.
I chose RuPaul's Drag Race because in the last decade it has gone from a small contest for the LGBT community to a global phenomenon. One of the only reality tv shows I can stand, it brings together people who have Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent to write, dance, sing and design their way to the top.
For this print I created a board game based on the many memorable / meme-able moments from the shows run to capture the journey of the competition and the jokes that only hardcore fans will get, and if you feel like it you can actually play it!
