On June 7, the New stage of the Alexandrinsky theatre hosted the audiovisual concert of Classic Electric.

Classic Electric is a musical project whose mission is to spread and develop modern electroacoustic academic music and audiovisual art.

I visually designed one of the works at the concert.

To achieve the integrity of the whole work, I decided to use the visualization of the audio wave as the basis of my generative graphics.

With a sound card, I took the audio wave from the musicians on stage and converted it into an image.

Further, by various transformations of the audio wave image, the final picture was built.

In work on this project I used a visual development platform Touchdesigner.

I developed my own interface for graphics management, which combines all the necessary parameters and information about the generative system.

All parameter controls were written in the Python programming language.

This greatly optimized the patch and made it more flexible and convenient to configure the control system without using a huge number of unnecessary nodes.
