Zeber — decorative typeface based on visual paradoxes and optical illusions.

From my childhood I was fond of surrealistic creativity, I enjoyed watching different optical illusions. But  desire to explore and to understand how they work has only come at the stage of searching for the topic for a diploma. Even before that, I knew that I want to do the font, so I decided to combine the visual paradoxes and typography in my work.

I was inspired by the Penrose Triangle and the Mobius Strip, developing the first letters A and O.
Initial idea was to create a set of three-dimensional linear letters, but having studied existing analogues, I've reached the conclusion that there is quite an amount of similar fonts. I've decided to change the structure of the letters from three-dimensional to a transitional state between two and three dimensions.  Finally, I've moved away from three-dimensional space completely.

This typeface passed a huge number of changes to achieve the final result.
I made this project while studying at LNAM Graphic Design department.
