In 2009, photographer Ejen Chuang travelled to six anime conventions across America to capture the phenomenon of Cosplay. Five months were spent photographing over 1, 650 cosplayers from coast to coast. As designer, I suggested that we pay homage to the dedication of the fans by making the book Japanese with English translations. The result is a beautiful hard bound coffee table book capturing the many faces of Americans united in their love of anime.
