ephemerality

The withering beauty of life on the Faroe Islands during spring.

While the first babies had hatched and been born, already discovering the unique nature around the islands in their early days in life, some mothers were still breeding.

But at the same time new live begins, signs of death are ever-present...
A northern fulmar (Fulmarus glacialis) nesting between flowers along steep cliffs.
The Great Skuas don't hesitate to attack loud and aggressively to protect their nests and chicks.
Skulls are a not so rare sight while hiking through the sheer nowhere of the Faroe Islands.
A group of lambs hiding behind the steep ridge - nothing they're afraid of as sheep are excellent climbers.
A mother sheep taking her parenthood responsible. As soon as she gets sense of danger, she calls off her lamb.
