The TSR labels were inspired by the Travelling Stock Route, which became the lifeblood of the region, as it was the conduit for moving livestock and acquiring daily supplies. This path runs through the back section of Lange Estate, and was used by previous generations of the Lange family and their neighbouring graziers and farmers. Connecting Bridgetown and Mount Barker, the T.S.R. travels through the Lange’s property to make use of two major watering holes along the way – vital to the welfare of the animals and their drovers who were making the long journey.
The Lange family have been cultivating and farming in rural Western Australia for five generations. The labels feature the estate origin story as told through a series of pictographs, honouring Lange family members both past and present. Various premium cues including embossing, gloss high build and bottle numbering were utilised to communicate the high quality of this wine.
