I was approached by the owners of Burnt Chimney Brewing Company looking to rebrand with a new name and new logo. I loved this project because I knew it was going to be a challenge and I haven't had a real challenge in a while.I knew that this was a big step from them changing the name and logo because they already had a fan base and had been using Burnt Chimney for some time up to this point. So begins the process.
Started with some fast sketches
Clients picked out the layouts they liked
Moving forward with sketches using Adobe Draw
Digital Sketches using Adobe Draw and Adobe Illustrator.
More refined designs once I got a better understanding of what they were looking for.
Then the clients thought since Spindale NC was originally a textile mill town we would try an old school textile mill design instead of the grain style mill pictured above.
With Destressing
Decided to go back with the original grain style mill. This is the final design.
This will be the location of MillTown Brewing Company in Spindale North Carolina.
