Desktop hand warmer

In the winter, despite the work in warm temperature place but the hands get freezing. For the case of an office employee who has a lot of computer task, they had experience of the pain of wrist and fingertips. The case of pain especially cause in the cold weather. Therefore, I designed the desktop hand-warmer which is put in front of the keyboard and warmly using in winter time.

겨울철, 컴퓨터 앞에 앉아 키보드를 사용하다 보면 난방을 하고 있음에도 불구하고 손이 시렸던 경험이 있었습니다.
컴퓨터 사용량이 많은 직장인의 경우에는 손목과 손끝의 통증이 수반되고, 특히나 추운 날씨에는 그런 증상이 심해지기도 합니다.
그래서 키보드 앞에 두고 사용하여 손 시림 없이 겨울철에 따뜻하게 업무를 볼 수 있는
desktop handwarmer를 디자인하게 되었습니다.
Design direction
Traditional mini heaters were often placed on the side of the desk because of their volume. If the hands get freezing while using the keyboard, It is uncomfortable with repeated movements that touching the hand to the heater and back to work. Therefore, I designed a heater that can be used in front of the keyboard. To avoid obscuring the view of the work, we designed a slim, compact, and function of warm that does not require any movement.

기존의 미니 히터는 부피 때문에 책상의 옆쪽에 두고 사용하는 경우가 많았습니다.
그래서 키보드를 사용하다가 손이 시렵게 되면 히터에 손을 갖다댔다가 다시 돌아와 키보드를 사용하는 반복적인 움직임이 불편했습니다.
때문에 키보드 앞에 두고 사용할 수 있는 히터를 고안하였습니다.
작업 시야가 가려지지 않도록 슬림하고, 컴팩트하며
불편하게 움직이지 않아도 따뜻하게 사용할 수 있는 디자인을 진행하였습니다.
