These images are inspired by numerous aerial photographs I've seen lately. In this series I turn the results of macro photography into a special kind of "aerial photography". Maybe you've already detected it: these picutures show the hidden landscapes you can find on the bark of trees. I was surprised about this micro landscapes like you can see them through a bird's eye, at a place where I did't expected them. It is fascinating that landscapes in a completely different context repeat themselves in nature - observed with imagination.
I chose the unusual square format to show unusual landscape photographs.
