Community Garden

The purpose of this stop motion video is to create a community garden for residents of Collingwood (Melbourne), to promote interactions between local residents and immigrants.

According to field surveys, Collingwood's green space is relatively scarce, and the survey has earned people more interest in natural outdoor spaces. Therefore, considering the percentage of local immigrants from high to low, the national flowers of these five countries are selected to represent the residents of five countries in an abstract way.

Through the growth and blooming process of flowers, more and more residents participate in this garden. People get along more and more harmoniously.

The form of the garden adopts the abandoned wooden box of the community under the background of the industrial warehouse, which become the movable planting boxes and moved and combined in a flexible form and low in cost.

Community Garden is not only a medium for promoting local residents' communication, but also a place for children's plant education and a daily resting place where lunch can be shared.
