Definition:
1. The quality of being easily shaped or moulded.
2. The adaptability of an organism to changes in its environment or differences between its various habitats.

The plastic paradox - characteristics that allow plastic to be easily shaped and moulded, strong and durable making it an invaluable resource in varying industries and applications are the same qualities that have devastating impact on wildlife and environment.

This series combines images of single use plastic bags and landscapes as a visual response to the issue. The plastic bags, ominous, biomorphic and ethereal, float like alien spaceships above global landscapes representing something that is both repulsive and revered.
