Inspired by my little sister, Luz—who was born with a form of cerebral palsy—I created LUZ, a workout partner app that would allow a forgotten group of athletes to stay active. After all, NIKE’s motto states: “If you have a body, you’re an athlete,” and the best to demonstrate this was though a workout app that catered athletes with different physical abilities.
