Inspired by the plants of Italy, Al Dente aims to provide high quality pasta in a unique and sustainable packaging.
The bags are made out of 100% natural linen and the closing mechanisms keeps the pasta fresh. Once emptied the bags can be brought into a store and refilled with the pasta of your choice.
Al Dente offers three types of pasta: farfalle (bowties), fusilli and conchiglie (shells). Each one of these pasta comes from a different region of Italy, and each of the pasta shapes is integrated in an illustration, of a plant that comes from the same region. These illustrations are embroidered on the front of the package.
For an additional touch, each pasta is packaged in a different colour linen to illustrate the kinds of sauce they are best paired with–cream for alfredo, green for pesto and red for tomato sauces.
Al Dente pays an homage to Italian tradition and heritage.
