Here we are in 2019, the same year that Bladerunner is set in.

In that world most of the animals have died out, cities dominate the world and the perpetual rain hints the effects of global warming. Owls were the first animals to die out. So this image is not only an homage to Ridley Scott and his masterpiece, but is also a warning of the dangers our world is facing right now!
