Ispired by some photo gallery of Rasputin (1908-1915 period) , I decided to reinterpert an image that has been slandered for different reasons. Usually, Rasputin bring to mind an obscure character acting for evil purposes... but here I want remember a man that struggled to heal people and animals : a commitment he exercised since his childhood in the remote Siberian countryside. A mystical and shamanic figure that overcomes worldly struggles for political power.
Ispirato da alcune fotografie del periodo 1908-1915 ho deciso di reinterpretare una immagine che è stata infamata per diversi motivi. Solitamente l'immagine di Rasputin rimanda ad un oscuro personaggio che agiva per fini malevoli...ma qui lo voglio ricordare come una persona che ha lottato per guarire uomini e animali: un proposito che egli esercitò fin da piccolo nelle remote campagne siberiane. Una figura mistica e sciamanica che ha trasceso le lotte per il potere.
