Canada's Justice Development Goals - report 2018

Every year, the Action Committee on Access to Justice in Civil and Family Matters publishes a report on the progress on Canada's Justice Development Goals.
The Committee collects data from organizations throughout all provinces and territories to keep track of what has been done for each of the 9 goals.
This year, people from Calibrate Solutions (a legal sector strategy firm) asked me to help with the design of the 2018 report, that was presented at the 2019 Action Committee Summit.

When designing the initial concept, I decided to keep it simple by pairing a bold serif font for titles and infographics with a clean and modern sans serif font for main content. Plus, I added a row of chevrons as a decorative element that also conveys the idea of progress.
Each goal is paired with a color, that stayed the same throughout the years, so it's easier for readers to keep track and also makes for a playful look.
As the document is dense with data and text, we decided to highlight major information with infographics, illustrations and choropleth maps.

The report was printed and published digitally both in english and french and you can find it here.
