Objective
According to Lao Wang band's(老王樂隊) songs, "The Education" has put on an identical label on many students in Taiwan since always. It keeps telling students what "Good Students" should be like. But what the education did is forcing everyone to learn from books and to pursue the scores on tests after all.
We take "education inspecting" as the core of creation, using uniformed students carrying schoolbags as the characters. With the consistently shooting style, it makes personal characteristics cannot reveal. And with the using of splicing overlap method, it presents the distortion of the bitmap image.
There's a cassette tape that is no longer used after the late 1990s, and a memory card placed in the center, showing the alternation between old generations and new’s.
Corrected lyrics appear like a student's workbook, representing students should be "corrected".
Gas masks represent suffering under the education is like surviving in the gas chamber, but students still must receiving education although it’s painful.
