This presentation demonstrates research and understanding of architectural history, preservation, and restoration. Done in a group of 4, Brent Cook, Alexxa Ingalls, Justyna Zalewski and I completed a survey and diagrammatic representation of the architectural elements in the Free Library of Philadelphia at 1901 Vine st. in Philadelphia, PA. Using peer-reviewed and scholarly articles to gain information on the background and context of the Free Library of Philadelphia, we presented a formulated and cohesive presentation that investigates the historical component of design to further our knowledge and approach to our own designs in other classes.
