The zine's title 'Concrete Jungle' is not just about Cairo being fully packed with buildings but about it being a literal jungle as well. Cairo's color palette has always been seen as dull and boring, due to the dryness of its weather and lack of vegetation.
In this Illustration zine, the buildings of Cairo are painted with watercolors highlighting their original beauty, and with tracing paper, plants are illustrated over those buildings showing how better they would look if plants covered the buildings of Cairo or were at least part of the life and architectural planning of the City, hoping to encourage the people of Cairo to plant more, for cleaner air and a more lively and bright surrounding.
