The curves are scrumptious:  When something is practical and beautiful, it's a wickedly cool thing. The Hasselblad X1D, introduced in June 2016, was a revolutionary medium format camera packaged in a remarkable design. Leave it to the Swedes to create something so timeless and elegant.
Photograph or render:  Shortly after we received our camera, we photographed it and posted those images in a Behance gallery. Recently, we rendered a whole series of images of the X1D. The renders appear first followed by the photographs.
Black is dramatic, but grey is descriptive:  The shape of this camera seems to lend itself to a simple, clean environment. We think this lower contrast, warm grey environment gives you an opportunity to take in the intricacies of the design.
Something a little different:  Here are a couple of images that are rendered with more of a 70s vibe.
If you made it this far:  You deserve to see the photos we shot back in 2016. Whether in an image shot traditionally with a camera or an image rendered in a computer, there is no escaping the captivating beauty of this timeless industrial design.
