These drawings are part of a 3 part series focusing on endangered plants and animals found in the three locations I have lived throughout my life. This particular group is from my current hometown of Peoria, Illinois.
The point of this series is to make the viewer aware that beautiful, incredibly unique endangered species are not only found in areas like the Amazon rainforest, but closer to home in North America's Midwest region.
This is currently hanging in Anderson Gallery in Des Moines, IA.
