When Nickelodeon was developing the revival of "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" with host John Cena, the design team partnered with Velvet Spectrum to create a 3D logo refresh for the next generation.
Multiple directions were explored, but the design ultimately came back to reflect the original, with an updated typeface and refined render and design elements.
