This is the Photoshop Daily Creative Challenge for the first 2 weeks of June 2019 with Voodoo Val.

For the first challenge we had to take a photo and make it look vintage.  I chose a photo of a TV show from the 80's in the UK called Metal Mickey.  I applied filters from the filter gallery and adjusted levels to give Mickey a retro feel.

I then took an image of my boss's car that he'd asked me to make vintage the week before, and on advice from the guys on Discord, toned down the noise to give a better looking image.

For this challenge VoodooVal gave us a line drawing she had made for us to colour in, using layers

For this challenge we took the asset from the previous challenges and created posters, I chose the classic line from Star Wars A New Hope.

For this challenge we put a modern spin on the sci fi poster.  Taking several different images and combining them using blending modes and other effects to create a modern movie poster.

This challenge was taking layers and using the wave filter on them to create some awesome glitch effects.

We took the stranger things text effect to create a poster of our own.  I chose Sloth from The Goonies as my "strange thing".

We used linked smart objects to create some funky - changeable - text with strokes, outer glows, bevels, overlays and more.  I used a nonsense word I made up in the late 80's that, meant at the time, a legacy for the new millennium.

For this challenge we used the same techniques as challenge 7, to create a battle worn flag for our own GOT house.

For this challenge we took the branding style of JW by applying gradient maps to smart objects so they were non-destructive, then added some text using the same font as the JW franchise.
