這是我第一支獨立完成的非商業動畫短片,

每個台灣孩子幾乎都經歷過沉重的升學壓力,

不管來自父母,還是社會,

孩子們沒辦法做自己喜歡的事情

衡量一個人的價值就是一個個數字

This is my first uncommercial animation that finished on my own.
Almost every Taiwanese kids suffered heavy academic pressure.

Whether from parents or society,
Kids can't do the thing they like.
the way they judge a person is by every single score.

在台灣,為了不同的事情,會有不同的信仰,

我家隔壁便是祈求考試順利的廟,

在我還小的時候,媽媽常帶我去拜拜,

但我的願望卻總是跟考試無關。

我們對神明許的願,

真的是他想要我們做的事情嗎?

如果我是這麼的特別,而不被社會接受,

神明依然會保佑著我嗎?

In Taiwan, There are different believes for different things.
Next door to my house is a temple that prays for taking exams succesfully.
When I was young, my mom often took me to pray.

However, my wishes always have no relations with exams.
Are the things that we've prayed to the god really the things that he wants us to do?
If I am so special that society doesn't accept, Will God still bless me?

想用最台灣的方式講完這個故事

不是冷冽而未來的氛圍,

而是溫暖而夕陽斜下的回憶,

I want to talk about this story in the most Taiwanese way.
Taiwan's most special appearance is not an atmosphere that cold and future, nor is cyberpunk.
It is a warm and sunset-accompanied memory.

Story/

女孩相當信賴祂,

人去樓空的放學傍晚,

女孩走向小廟,

他只想問,

如果他是如此的與世界不同,

祂是否還會繼續庇佑她?

girl really trust him.

The sun went down.

When classmates all left, she came to the temple solely.

She faced it.

She only wanted to ask.
